Description:
We are a married couple seeking land (for sale or lease) to expand our growing capacity.

We've been growing vegetables and flowers for over 15 years. A few years ago, we decided to follow our dreams and turn our love of growing into a business. We've spent the past three years learning how to grow at scale, building infrastructure, and educating ourselves about the business side of farming. We're now at a point where we have maxed out the growing space on our current acreage, and we're looking to expand.

Kristi was raised in a wheat farming family in Eastern Washington and grew up working alongside her parents during harvest, raising chickens, and tending the family's home garden. When we got married, we knew we wanted a rural, agriculture-based lifestyle as well. We moved from the suburbs to a couple of acres in unincorporated Snohomish County, and we've enjoyed growing (and preserving) for our own needs and to share with friends and family.

When we decided that we wanted to turn our passion into an income-generating venture, we started trialing to find crops we felt we could profitably grow at scale. Currently, our primary crop is dahlias, as well as several dozen other types of specialty cut flowers as complements to the dahlias. We're now ready to take the next steps in our farming journey, but need to find the land to support our plans. We are also very interested in expanding into specialty pumpkins in the future, however our current acreage limits our ability to grow in that direction.

We are hardworking, devoted to our business plan, highly educated, and have access to capital to ensure our stability and growth. We're interested in land opportunities for sale or lease of at least 1/2 acre (but ideally more to allow for our future growth), level and cleared, excellent sun exposure, and access to water. The greater Snohomish-area is ideal, but we're flexibility for the right opportunities with King and Skagit as additional possibilities.
