Description:The Off Ox Project is dedicated to the advancement of the sustainable farming movement through the practical application of oxen and biodynamics. We are currently farming 15 acres, 12 in pasture 3 in certified organic crops. We farm with oxen and make education a priority of the farm. We are looking to add milking cows and a small beef herd.
We are looking for land that works for both grazing and vegetable production, and are open to land anywhere in Skagit or Whatcom County. Ideally, the land would come with a fence, road, and well, but our infrastructure needs are flexible. We need housing onsite. If housing is not available, we would need the possibility of bringing a trailer, tiny house or yurt to live in. We would prefer to purchase, if possible, but are also open to a long-term lease arrangement, preferably lease to own.
