We are a dedicated young couple seeking land to grow our farming operation. Since April 2022, we have been full-time farmers specializing in humane, pasture-based animal husbandry. Our current livestock includes 10 piglets, 1 sow, and 10 chickens, and we are eager to expand on a property we can steward long-term.Our journey began in 2015 as a couple, and after leaving behind careers in education and news broadcasting, we found purpose and fulfillment in agriculture. In just over a year on a production farm, we progressed to managing day-to-day operations, including full-cycle meat production. We’ve gained hands-on experience with pigs, poultry, and cattle, as well as garden work and greenhouse management. In addition to livestock care, we are comfortable with machinery like tractors and Bobcats, and we bring strong skills in marketing, having managed farm stands, online sales, and multiple farmers markets.
We are currently seeking at least 5 acres in western Washington to continue our journey. Our ideal property would allow us to responsibly raise animals and grow vegetables, with the infrastructure to support our growing operation.
