I graduated with a BS in Environmental studies at the University of Oregon in 2003, during that time I volunteered at numerous farms and urban garden projects and received my training in permaculture. I then worked at Wintergreen a biodynamic/usda organic produce and livestock farm in Noti Oregon in 2004. In 2005 I did a year long intensive biodynamic apprenticeship training at Raphael Gardens on Rudolf Steiner College campus in Fair Oaks California. There I co-managed a year round produce CSA, along with engaging in all livestock operations and biodynamic farming practices. From 2006-2016 I started Tani Creek Farm a small, diverse year-round certified organic market garden, CSA, and seed breeding farm. Tani Creek was also one of the first farms in WA to offer Biodynamic apprenticeship training. From 2017-2023 I started and co-founded a food processing company in Eugene Oregon and started Be Real Farm a certified organic industrial hemp farm in Fall Creek Oregon. I am currently looking for land to lease, buy, share, etc. to continue my organic farming endeavors and to be closer to my family in western Washington.Farm Business Type:
