Hi! I’m a 32 year old ex farmer looking to get back into veggie growing, animal husbandry and living rurally. I grew up in the north cascades and after being in the city for 7+ years, I’m finally ready emotionally and financially to make a move back to farm life! I’m not currently farming, however, I have 2 years of incubator farming experience from Seattle Tilths beginner farm program. With this program, I basically got a crash course in all things farming. We raised dairy goats, chickens, grew organic vegetables, herbs and flowers. We had a small CSA and sold at the Columbia city farmers market. From there, I stayed involved by helping during harvest season at friends farms and had my own backyard operation while I saved money in the big city.My partner and I and our pack of rescue pups are looking for a forever home. I’d like to be able to finance through my credit union so having a livable home on the property would be ideal. However, if raw land is available where the soil is good and utilities are there or could be there, that would work as well.
