Description:
New to farming on larger scale and looking to learn on a small amount of land; currently I'm located south of Seattle / North of Tacoma and would like to find a location near to me, in King/Pierce/Snohomish Count (willing to commute). I'm interested in a small plot (quarter to half acre) to begin learning sustainable production processes/application—I have an eye towards leaving the land better than I found it and producing food for my local community to address local food insecurity issues. During the learning phase, I intend to donate most of our produce to food banks. I'm open to providing part of the harvest as rent or whatever is negotiated with the right lease arrangement
