Description:
Looking for acreage in or around Yakima/Kittitas County for diversified row crop/livestock operation. I am a first generation farmer who has been growing since 2015. I took part in a 2 season apprenticeship on a non-certified organic farm in Kent, and after that I had my own farm business in Yakima for 3 years operating a CSA, selling at farmers markets, and had multiple wholesale accounts. I also raised pastured pork, chicken, and turkeys. My focus is on sustainable and ecologically sound agriculture. After I lost land access, I spent a year as the Agricultural Operations Manager for a regenerative farm owned by a non- profit in West Virginia. I am not currently farming, as I just made it back to the Yakima area in Dec. 2021. I am hoping to find land to re-establish my farm business by 2023.
