Hi, my name is Kelly and I am a farmer who primarily grows flowers. I have been farming on my current plot of land in Monroe for 15 years but my lease is expiring in October 2023.I currently farm on 5 acres and would like to expand to 5-7 acres (though I could go as small as 3 acres). Ideally, I'd like to be in one location and have access to water. If allowed, I would like to build a temporary cooler for storage. It would also be nice to have fencing available as well as a greenhouse.
A longer term lease (3-5 years) with a range of $300-$500 per acre would be ideal. I am also interested in buying land if that is an option. As far as locations go, I'd prefer to stay in Monroe. The Sultan area would be okay too.
