I am an aspiring homesteader and permaculture enthusiast looking for more land to practice on. I am currently living in Seattle suburbs and doing what farm and permaculture practices I can on less than 1/4 acre. I am most interested in growing fruit, nut and other edible perennial plants. I would love to be able to build my own nursery or orchard one day, but it is difficult to do in my current living situation.I am looking for 1-5 acres to propagate different varieties of perennials and also try working with different types of livestock (specifically chickens and pigs). I want to work on building my farming skills and practices now so it is any easier shift when I finally buy my own land. I am only interested in doing organic farming practices. I never use any pesticides/herbicides.
