Preferred Acreage: 1-50
Preferred County: Spokane County
Description:I raise chickens, turkeys, pigs, ducks, rabbits and have experience bottle feeding calves. I maximize my yard growing vegetables, berries, fruits and flowers for consumption as well as for sale at a local farmers market. I am actively looking for affordable land to be able to expand. Ultimate goal is to buy 10-20 acres (or more, if financially realistic); open to rent to own or lease to own, or open to the idea of leasing/renting acreage as long as the monthly payment is low enough to purchase property in the future
Ideally, our farm goals are: to grow more crops to sell (and for personal consumption); we're in our fourth season of market farming and have maximized our current property's capacity. We have a bunch of experience with hot season crops (tomatoes, corn, squashes, berries, etc.); we have raised pigs, sheep, bottle-baby calves, chickens, turkeys, and bunnies. Husband grew up on farm in Mexico, I grew up on 5 diversified acres with chickens for meat production.
