Land Description:The owner is seeking a farmer to lease 38 acres of farmland, including 18 acres of level land previously used for growing crops. The crops in the land included alfalfa, grass hey, vegetables and corns. There were also cows and other livestock on the land. The soil is good. The lesser may choose only to lease the 18 acres of level land.
There is senior water right of 38 acres. There are irrigation and domestic wells and a ditch with water from a lake on the property. The land is fenced with a few places that may need repair. The entrance of the property is on a nice city paved road.
There are wheel lines and hand lines, but no other farm equipment. The land currently is not being farmed.
The new owners are looking for a farmer with their own equipment to lease the land primarily to grow crops, potentially adding other agricultural activities such as Livestock and dairy. The owners do not normally live on the property. There is a nice house on the hilltop of the property with a terrific 360-degree view of the valley to make a great living. If needed, the lessee may also lease the house, or choose to bring a RV to live on the hilltop next to the house (electricity/water are available). There will be a separate lease agreement for the house. Property is in Selah, Yakima County, and only 20 minutes’ drive to Yakima city. The population of Yakima County is 259,428. Most major stores that are on the west coast can be found in Yakima city. Photos are available. The neighbors are nice, and most of them are farmers.
