Description:My name is Douglas Onkeo, a Kenyan who is very passionate about farming. I was raised in the country and my parents were farmers. We used to grow varied crops ranging from tomatoes, kale, corn, beans, carrots, onions, among others, before I moved to the USA.
Here in Kent, my friends and I are doing small scale farming. For the last year we grew kale, spinach, beans, managu ( African nightshade) and kunde (black-eyed-beans) at the Wakulima USA in Kent. I am looking forward to about 3 acres of land to improve and expand my production. I am open-minded and ready to learn and work.
