Description:Situation: Retiring from 29+ years in the military and transitioning to agricultural endeavors.
History: Raised rurally and lived/worked on 700 acre dry land Palouse farm for 10 years prior to active duty. Son continues to farm in Palouse area. Horse owner and caretaker since age of 8 years. I have knowledge, training and experience with organic vegetable & berry gardening, fruit trees, hydroponics, poultry (chickens, turkeys, ducks), livestock management (cattle, pigs, goats/sheep, horses), vineyard management, winemaking and beekeeping.
Currently: Enrolled in Agricultural Business Planning and Practice course with Texas A&M. Enrolled in online Viticulture and Winemaking Certificate Programs at Texas Tech University.
