Description:My husband, dog, and I are seeking land that we can enrich with our collective and growing knowledge of agriculture and self-sustainability. We own and operate a building company, live in the nearly off grid tiny house that we built, and I am currently a student at WSU pursuing an organic agriculture certificate. Alongside our small-scale home gardening experience, I work on an 80-acre farm with organic practice fruit and nut orchards, flowers, herbs, a market garden, poultry for eggs, sheep, pigs and equines in the San Juan Islands.
We aim to find land where we are able to support our community of flora and fauna while also providing accessibility to communities and low-income families.
We work hard and believe in malama ka 'aina (caring for and protecting the land in Hawaiian).
Our immediate desires include a market garden, fruit orchard, and poultry infrastructure which we would be happy to start if needed. Our future goals could include other livestock, temporary housing for traveling nurses, a pond, and many other things, but we plan to take our time solidifying those immediate desires first.
