Description:Ubuntu Nerudo African Heritage is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving African culture and heritage.
Our vision is to establish an African Village in King County that will showcase traditional methods of farming and building, as well as highlight other important cultural aspects of several African cultures.
The ideal land will be between 10 and 50 acres and have a natural body of water: stream, river, lake, big clean pond, wetland.
We will need access to water we can use to irrigate. We will need a building to gather and store equipment, so we will need land that will have zoning that allows for this. We plan to keep livestock and grow a diversity of culturally appropriate crops.
In terms of our ideal location, we are most interested in land in Federal Way, Kent, Tacoma, Lynwood, Everett, or Leavenworth. We want to be accessible to the community. The closer to Seattle we can get, the better, since we want to be a place where many people can gather and learn.
In terms of experience, we have 10 years of livestock and crop farming experience in Zimbabwe and 1 year of farming experience in USA.
