Description:I have been farming and gardening for over a decade, and had a childhood rich with growing experiences and getting my hands in the dirt. For the past 5 years I have been farming and caring for livestock commercially/professionally.
I have spent time working and helping at HeyDay Farm, Laughing Crow Farm, Coyote Farm, Wardwell Farms, and have most recently held the role of Garden Manager at IslandWood on Bainbridge Island.
My passion is educating people on where their food comes from, and showing them how easy it is to get it from the dirt onto their plate. Executing Farm-to-Table events is something that brings me great joy, and I love to engage with community members about the rich agriculture abundance of the PNW. I would love a place where I could grow food, make food, and serve food to the community.
I have experience with permaculture and no-till practices, and I enjoy being a steward of the land in a way that is sustainable for everyone. I strive to work in tandem with the earth and others, to build and create something bigger than ourselves. In an ideal world, I would love to be part of a large cooperative where like-minded folks farm and work together, creating the sustainable community that works for everyone.
I am looking for a space that has been farmed or worked before in some capacity, and that might have some structures or structural skeletons to work with. Water is probably a must, and power would be a plus.
I am hoping to make connections with people who are looking for similar things so even if you are not someone with a space right now, let’s connect and see if we can find a space together.
I am looking for land share/ cooperative land arrangements to grow good food, make good food, and be involved in a community that has similar values as mine. Ideally, I would love to grow and make food full-time, just looking for the perfect opportunity to make that possible.
Please message me with any questions, opportunities, or ideas, I would love to connect with you!
