There are two residences on the property. One is available for rent in November and one occupied by the owners, who are in their 80s. Owner and tenants would be neighbors. Daughter is helping parents manage the property and screening tenants.
The residence available for rent is large: 4-5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 levels, 7,000+ square feet.
The owners previously grew acres of alfalfa. There were also cattle in the open fields and forested areas. Many of the pastures have been fallow for years, or grazed by cattle.
Owner is interested in renting to farmers who have the skill set to grow food for the community. Organic strongly preferred. Fruit, vegetable, flower or seed production. Owner is much less interested in meat or dairy production.
It is not adjacent to any other agricultural operations and is in a rural area.
